Enemy
ENEMY is TWICE's sixth Japanese studio album, released August 27, 2025 via Warner Music Japan โ their tenth Japanese album overall. The project is notable as a member-directed work: Jihyo served as visual director and participated in the direction of every element, from the music to the music videos. The cinematic album trailer released July 22 was narrated by Jihyo and depicted each member's internal struggles with perfectionism, marking a darker and more introspective visual identity than previous Japanese eras.
The album spans nine tracks: "Up to You," "ENEMY," "FINE," "One Day," "Blind in Love," "Love Is More," "The Wish," "Glow," and "Like 1." Two pre-releases preceded the physical drop โ lead single "Enemy" on July 30 with an MV, and "Like 1" on August 20 with an animated MV. "The Wish" was also included having originally dropped December 16, 2024 as a standalone digital single tied to a FamilyMart television commercial.
Physically, ENEMY arrives in 14 versions: Limited Edition A (CD+DVD), Limited Edition B (CD), Regular, ONCE JAPAN, nine individual member Solo Jacket editions, and the 8th Anniversary Collection BOX โ the standout collector's item, limited to just 888 sets in a nod to TWICE's 8th anniversary. The 888-set cap makes it among the most strictly limited box sets in the Japanese discography, comparable to DIVE's 777-set 7th Anniversary BOX.
Commercially, the album debuted at number one on Billboard Japan Hot Albums and number two on the Oricon weekly albums chart with 114,206 first-week copies sold, reaching 163,745 total by late September. The RIAJ certified it Platinum in October โ TWICE's first Japanese album to earn that certification since &TWICE in 2019, and the title track "Enemy" separately earned RIAJ Platinum in November.
