Strategy is TWICE's 14th Korean mini album, released December 6, 2024 — announced at their ninth-anniversary fanmeeting HOME 9ROUND on October 20, where "Sweetest Obsession" was surprise-performed live ahead of the release. The seven-track album features "Strategy" (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) as the title track, continuing the TWICE x Megan creative partnership that began with the "Mamushi (Remix)" just weeks earlier. Three tracks — "Strategy," "Kiss My Troubles Away," and "Magical" — are sung entirely in English, marking one of TWICE's most English-language-forward Korean releases to date. The remaining tracks are "Like It Like It," "Sweetest Obsession," "Keeper," and "Strategy (TWICE Ver.)." The album comes in 18 physical versions: three standard photobook editions (Step 1, 2, 3), nine individual member Step 4 digipack editions, a Highlight version (featuring a 150-page diary format instead of a photobook, plus polaroid and sticker pack), two vinyl picture disc editions (Peppermint, Target-exclusive; Sugar Frost, TWICE Store-exclusive), and three Platform_Nemo editions. Standard Step editions include a photobook, CD, lyrics letter, ornament, 5 random photocards out of 45 types, and folded poster; pre-orders added a photocard set and poster. Promotions were cut short in South Korea when Show! Music Core and Inkigayo were canceled following President Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of martial law and subsequent impeachment proceedings. Strategy debuted at Circle Album Chart #1 with over 800,000 first-week copies sold and Billboard 200 #4 — making TWICE the first K-pop girl group to place six different albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
