Eyes Wide Open is TWICE's 2nd Korean full-length album, released October 26, 2020 โ€” their first full album since Twicetagram in 2017. It comes in three versions (Story, Style, Retro), each with a version-specific concept and 88-page photobook, a Message Card (1 of 9), a Lyric Folded Poster (1 of 10), a DIY Sticker, and 5 photocards randomly drawn from 100 total. First press copies included "The Most Card" and a pre-order photocard set per version. The Story version continues the visual world of More & More, the Style version reflects the album's main concept styling, and the Retro version leans into the album's strong '80s aesthetic. A particularly rare inclusion: Daily Polaroids were randomly inserted into only 90 albums total across all versions, making them among the most coveted pulls in TWICE's entire discography. Member Jeongyeon sat out promotions due to health concerns but participated in the album. The 13-track album spans '80s retro synth-pop, city pop, and EDM, earning widespread critical praise โ€” included in Time magazine's best albums of 2020 and Billboard's top K-pop albums of the year. "I Can't Stop Me" hit #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales and debuted at #35 on the Billboard Global 200, TWICE's first entry on that chart. The album peaked at #72 on the US Billboard 200 โ€” their highest at the time โ€” and earned KMCA Double Platinum. The companion monograph (150p photobook + 9 member photocards) was released March 5, 2021.
