&TWICE is TWICE's 2nd Japanese studio album, released November 20, 2019 via Warner Music Japan — and notably the only original Japanese TWICE album not named after its lead single. It comes in four versions: Limited Edition A (CD + DVD), Limited Edition B (CD + DVD), Regular Edition (CD), and a ONCE JAPAN fanclub edition (CD), with all four versions including 1 of 10 trading cards. The DVD content differs between the two limited editions. The album contains 10 tracks led by "Fake & True," which was pre-released digitally on October 18, 2019, and also includes the previously released singles "Happy Happy" and "Breakthrough." Notable deep cuts include "What You Waiting For" — TWICE's first fully original English-language song — and "How u Doin'," composed and written by Chaeyoung, marking the first time a TWICE member had composing credit on a Japanese release. The album earned RIAJ Platinum certification with 124,197 first-week Oricon sales. A release event was held December 7, 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight, with 15 exclusive goods available (Mina did not attend due to her ongoing health recovery). A repackage, &TWICE -Repackage-, followed on February 5, 2020, adding the new track "Swing" and a new version of the "Fake & True" MV titled "The Truth Game," in two versions: a Limited Edition (CD+DVD, 7-inch box, 48p lyric booklet, full 9-piece solo trading card set, and 9 postcards) and a Regular Edition (CD, 24p booklet, 1/9 trading card).
