BDZ is TWICE's 1st Japanese studio album, released September 12, 2018 through Warner Music Japan. Named after the Japanese word for "bulldozer," it features 10 tracks — 5 previously released singles and 5 new songs — with the title track produced by J.Y. Park. It comes in four versions: Limited Edition A (CD+DVD featuring the Candy Pop showcase live at NHK Hall, with a 32-page lyric booklet and sleeve case), Limited Edition B (CD+DVD featuring the "BDZ" and "I Want You Back" MVs and making-of footage, with a 20-page lyric booklet and sleeve case), a Regular Edition (CD with 20-page lyric booklet), and an exclusive ONCE JAPAN fanclub edition (CD with 32-page lyric booklet, folded poster, and member message trading cards). All versions include 1 of 10 trading cards. The album debuted at number one on the Oricon Albums Chart and earned a platinum certification from the RIAJ — TWICE's fifth consecutive platinum release in Japan.
